Who We Are
Midwest Capital Funding (MidCap) is a full service Commercial Real Estate Finance Firm, specializing in arranging real estate loans for a wide-range of clients. Prior to starting MidCap, our principal was a commercial real estate loan officer with several of the top commercial banks in the Kansas City area, having been involved in over $1 billion of financing transactions throughout the Midwest.
What We Do
MidCap’s core competency is arranging financing for commercial real estate projects, including, but not limited to, acquisition, refinance, construction, owner-occupied, and bridge/mezzanine loans. We also maintain relationships with many permanent lenders, such as life insurance companies and conduits, to aid in securing long term, fixed rate, non-recourse loans.
With our principal having spent twelve years as a commercial real estate lender at several of the top commercial banks in the Midwest, we know how to navigate each step in the process to insure the best loan terms for our clients. Spending some of this period working on troubled real estate loans during the Great Recession, we also know how to best protect our clients’ interest in case turbulent times are around the corner. Lastly, having spent three years working as a real estate developer/owner, we have experience that only comes from sitting on your side of the table.
